Making Your BMW Shine for Summer

Now that summer is looming on us, and about time to i might say, you may be thinking about puting the soft top down on your BMW convertible for the journey home. Whether you have a BMW Z3, BMW Z4, BMW E30, BMW E36, BMW E46 or even a BMW E63 then we are the first and only stop you should make when having  new soft tops fitted.

If you are the proud owner of either a BMW Z3 or a BMW 3 series (E30 & E36) then you will know that on older cars, or more specifically older soft tops, the plastic windows will tend to crack if operated on cold but sunny mornings. Fear not as this does not necessarily mean you need to have a new soft top fitted at high cost. Quite often with these plastic windows they can simply be unpicked and replaced with a new section of clear plastic sheet (Vybac) which is sewn into the existing soft top.

Alternatively you can go the full banana and have a complete new soft top hood fitted, which really will make your soft top look like new. Available in all factory colours the soft tops that we fit come with a one year guarentee for plastic windows and a 3 year guarentee for glass window models. If you know your BMWs then you will know that the glass window models are the BMW Z4, BMW E46 and the BMW E63 (6 Series). Now because these models have the higher spec glass window, if there is a problem with the soft top then it is tricky to just replace the window. Replacing the whole soft top can be an expensive option, especially if buying a factory part, but we can offer these soft top hoods at a very reasonable price and if you are the lucky owner of a 6 series then the glass is reused, believe it or not actually making the soft top for this car cheaper than the BMW mini!
